The former minister and presently the guber candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance in Enugu State, Frank Nweke Jnr. has thrown his weight behind Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential candidacy.
Nweke, earlier today while reacting to the allegation making the round that he is supporting Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate said that he had a good relationship with the former Vice-President in his days as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He described Atiku as a man of unquestionable integrity and goodwill who has the interest of Nigerians at heart but ended up saying that Atiku’s charitable heart can’t be equated with Bola Tinubu’s goodness and capacity to deliver Nigerians. He maintained that Tinubu has made many political leaders who were mostly youths between the ages of 25 and 30 during his tenure as the governor of Lagos State.
He narrated how he and other members of his family have benefited from Tinubu’s benevolence. Nweke described Tinubu as a savior who is coming to make amendments to all the destruction the current administration has done in the country. He further stated that despite being in APGA, he will still say the truth without fear of contradiction that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is competent, able, and strong to be the number one citizen of this country.
“The news that I am supporting Atiku’s presidency is totally far from the truth. Though I have much regard for Atiku Abubakar whom I have enjoyed a very wonderful relationship during my days as the Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I will make bold to say not minding my party and without fear of contradiction that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the Messiah Nigerians have been praying for. Among all the presidential candidates in this presidential race, I have not seen anyone that will match Tinubu’s track records of achievement and capaicty,” Nweke maintained.
