Just In: Edeoga loses case at Appeal Court

The governorship ambition of Chijioke Edeoga has once again, hit the rock as the Appellate Court sitting in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory has dismissed his Appeal to be joined in the suit which sacked him as the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Enugu State.

Edeoga had approached the Appeal court, seeking to be joined in the case instituted by Captain Everest Nnaji which removed him (Edeoga) as the candidate of the Labour Party.

In the ruling on Friday, the Justices of the Appeal Court held that Edeoga’s appeal lacked merit and incompetent as it was filed out of time.

The Court also noted that the appeal of notice was filed without attaching the certified True Copy of the High Court.

Edeoga filed his appealed on the 2nd of December while the judgement sacking him was given on the 9th of November, 2022.
