Why thanking God for life where people have died is selfish – Daddy Freeze
Famous broadcaster and socialite, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has disclosed why it is selfish to give a testimony for surviving any tragic incident that led to the death of others.
The broadcaster, regarded as controversial with his views, regarded those appreciating God for protecting them in the face of many deaths as selfish.
Giving an example of a scenario of the collapsed building where ten people died and only one person survived and decided to testify instead of mourning, Daddy Freeze stated that such a gesture is selfish.
Freeze, in a post on his Instagram page, said: “10 people lost their lives in a collapsed building, and the one person who survived gives testimony?, Really? This is not a testimony. Rather, it’s the manifestation of our innate caveman mentality, built on the foundations of selfishness and greed.
”Would the early churches in Jerusalem or Antioch have approved such testimony? Instead, it should be a time of mourning for the lost lives.”
When he was reminded in the comment section that the Holy Bible urged Christians to thank God in all situations, Daddy Freeze questioned why they didn’t also thank God when Tinubu was announced the winner of the just concluded presidential election.
”So, when Tinubu won the election, why didn’t you thank God?”
